Choosing ReasonsMORE
-
Peking University is among the most prestigious universities in the program. I have dreamed of being able to attend college in China ever since I developed an interest in the Chinese language and culture eight years ago. Since then, I have gone on a harrowing life journey to end up here, and I wish to put my skills to the test and be the best I can be, and I know the only way I can do that is at Peking University. I wish to use my understanding of politics and culture I have received and will continue to receive to help foster better relationships between our two countries. China and the Unites States are the two countries who most exemplify the term "superpower". Together, they could accomplish anything.

Reasons from L*******************
There are many reasons to why I want to study at Peking University. Since I traveled to China for 1.5 month back in 2013, I have been very interested in the culture and language. Then I started studying History at Copenhagen University, and from the start I knew I wanted to study Chinese History, which is why I chose China Studies as my Minor. While the language is hard I am very fascinated by it. My Chinese history teacher also opened my eyes regarding the complexity of China. I have always been interested in Politics, and read about it every day. I come from a very small country so I am very fascinated how China is working, even though it is so big. I am currently studying Chinese Language at 北京第二外国语大院。Before I started here I was worried that it would be to hard to study in China, but I really like it. The reason I want to apply to Peking University is that I have heard is one of the best Universities in China, and my Chinese friends tell me that it is the best University when it comes to History and Politics. Since my dream is to become an expert on Chinese Political History, I can not think of a better place to learn about it, and simoultaniosly improve my Chinese language skills.
