- 1) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport. Residents of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan who have emigrated to other countries and are applying to Peking University as international students must present valid passport or citizenship documents dating from before April 30, 2015, along with proof of cancellation of Chinese nationality.
- 2) Applicants for master's degree programs must have attained a bachelor's degree and students who graduated from non-Chinese universities must hold a bachelor's degree from a university accredited by the Ministry of Education of China. (Grade skipping or joining in the middle of the course is not permitted.)
- 3) HSK 6, over score of 210, Not lower than a score of 65.

*1. Certificate of HSK

*4. Undergraduate school transcript
Official transcripts of your academic achievement up to the present, including courses taken and standard achieved (original documents or certified copies in Chinese or English)
*5. Bachelor's degree diploma
Students expecting to graduate should provide an official letter stating expected graduation date, and submit the graduation diploma if admitted, which should be original documents or certified copies in Chinese or English
*6. Two recommendation letters from your referees
The referees should be professors or persons with relevant academic title. At least one of them should have knowledge of your recent academic work. The format of the recommendation letter must be original documents either in Chinese or English.

*9. Personal Statement with 800 words
Personal Statement (including research plan) with the applicant's signature, written in Chinese.

i.e the original certified documents issued by the local Chinese Embassy officer. No matter you will be admitted or not, the materials will be kept in the university permanently.
Tips:
For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit. - How to Apply
